WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • AEROPRESS

  • COFFEE BEANS/GROUND

  • GRINDER (OPTIONAL)

  • KETTLE OF BOILING WATER

  • FILTER PAPER

  • MUG

  • MEASURING SPOON OR SCALES

 

Method

1. PLACE CLEAN DRY FILTER  PAPER INTO AEROPRESS CAP AND  SECURE IT TO THE BODY.

2. PLACE BODY OVER MUG WITH CAP DOWN.

3. FLUSH AEROPRESS WITH HOT WATER – TO HEAT BREWER AND RINSE PAPER. EMPTY WATER FROM MUG.

4. PUT GROUND COFFEE INTO AEROPRESS.

5. POUR IN WATER (250ML).

6. STIR QUICKLY WITH  STIRRER FROM KIT.

7. INSERT PLUNGER AT A SLIGHT ANGLE. ONCE IN PULL UP SLIGHTY TO CREATE A VACUUM.

8. AFTER 90 SEC OF STEEPING PUSH PLUNGER DOWN WHILST HOLDING THE MUG.

9. LEAVE A FEW ML OF BREW IN THE PLUNGER SO AS NOT TO OVER EXTRACT.
