Sourcing.
All of our suppliers have a strong focus on sustainability. Our single use items are compostable or fully recyclable. We buy locally at every opportunity. We are proud to have Cameron Bakery & Roots Kitchen provide us with all our baked goods. We use milk poly boxes from Glanbia to minimise plastic waste.
On site.
We capture all waste streams to ensure maximum composting and minimum landfill waste. All coffee grinds and water waste are captured and go into our compost for our vegetable patch. Plus we follow a Zero Plastic policy, which also means we have no single use plastic on site, no bottles etc.
Cortado in the Workplace.
Through the format of the Cortado offering we create the ideal environment to allow workplaces create an area for informal staff interaction. We have identified with our partners the need to encourage informal discussion around the workplace. A space to encourage conversation and a break from the desk.
Social Sustainability.
Family and community are at the core of Cortado. We support schools and community based charities & intend on building on this in the future.
