BREWING GUIDE MOKA POT

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • STOVETOP (MOKA POT)

  • COFFEE BEANS/GROUND

  • GRINDER (OPTIONAL)

  • BOILING WATER

  • HOB OR STOVE

  • OVEN GLOVE

 

Method

1. WHILE KETTLE IS ON TO BOIL, GRIND THE COFFEE BEANS. NO  FINER THAN CASTER SUGAR!

2. REMOVE THE TOP OF THE  MOKA POT & BASKET. FILL THE BOTTOM WITH HOT WATER – MAKE SURE LEVEL IS BELOW SAFETY VALVE.

3. PUT GROUND COFFEE IN BASKET AND FILL LEVEL. DO NOT PAT DOWN.

4. PLACE THE BASKET BACK IN THE MOKA POT WITH THE SPOUT DOWN.

5. SCREW THE TWO PARTS TOGETHER. CAREFUL THEY’LL BE HOT!

6. PLACE POT ON LOW TO MEDIUM HEAT.

7. WHEN POT GURGLES THE COFFEE IS READY. REMOVE FROM HEAT & SERVE.
