WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • V60 DRIPPER FUNNEL

  • COFFEE BEANS/GROUND

  • GRINDER (OPTIONAL)

  • KETTLE OF BOILING WATER

  • FILTER PAPER

  • SPOON

  • 2 X CUP OR MUG (FOR COFFEE  & WASTE)

  • MEASURING SPOON OR SCALES

 

Method

1. FOLD FILTER PAPER INTO A  CONE & PLACE IN V60 SITTING  ON TOP OF MUG.

2. RINSE THE FILTER PAPER  BY POURING HOT WATER  THROUGH IT INTO CUP  (DISGARD THE EXCESS)

3. PLACE COFFEE IN CONE AND  GENTLY SHAKE FLAT

4. PUT V60 AND MUG ONTO SCALES

5. START THE TIMER. POUR 50G  OF WATER, COVERING ALL THE  COFFEE, MAKING IT BLOOM.

6. AFTER 30 SECS POUR IN  100G OF WATER.

7. AFTER 60 SECS POUR IN  50G MORE WATER.

8. AT 90 SECS ADD ANOTHER  50G.

9. ALL YOUR WATER (250G)  SHOULD BE IN @ 90 SEC.  NOW LET WATER DRIP  THROUGH.

10. TOTAL BREW TIME 2 – 3  MIN – IF LONGER MAKE  GRIND COARSER, IF SHORTER  MAKE FINER.
